By incorporating an optical system into the vertical downward direction of existing HMDs, we have developed a new HMD that increases the downward field of view. This innovation allows users to perceive their body and the surrounding environment beyond their avatar's hands

We conducted an investigation into the changes in perceived weight when using a muscular avatar and examined the variations in exerted muscle strength through the gradual increase in the avatar's muscle size, which is synchronized with squat movements.

We have confirmed that the contrast between the appearance and abilities of self and others' avatars can influence behavior, and further, the interaction between role assignment and personality traits may impact the Proteus Effect. Moving forward, we will continue our research to uncover the influence of avatars in Social VR and Metaverse environments, shedding light on this phenomenon.

Virtual Co-embodiment is a method where the movements of two users are consolidated into a single avatar, allowing both users to control and manipulate one shared avatar.

The Virtual Omnibus Lecture is a novel remote lecture method where a single lecturer conducts a lecture while changing their avatar, providing students with an experience as if they were receiving lectures from multiple instructors.
