Food texture manipulation by the visual presentation of modified chewing movements

This system aims to manipulate the perception of food texture by presenting the modified face contour during mastication, focusing on the study of manipulating somatosensory by posture change. Food texture is an important element involved in taste perception, and methods to expand food texture perception using auditory stimulation or physical stimulation have been proposed. In this system, we aim to change food texture perception without wearing a special device by visually providing a feedback of modified chewing movements through a display.
